I adore projects which allow me to utilize both my creative and analytical skills! My professional journey has included stops in the private, nonprofit and government sectors while I was working in web design, marketing and communication, leadership and talent acquisition roles.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Social Sciences from the University of Washington before pursuing a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication at Washington State University’s Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. This online portfolio was created as my master’s degree capstone project.

As the Web Manager for the Washington State Department of Licensing, I currently lead a team of web designers, developers and content strategists who support our external website and internal employee intranet. I love being a member of the digital communications leadership team and feel like my educational and professional journeys are intersecting nicely. I have the opportunity to use my creative skills, but also work on emerging technology strategic initiatives including digital accessibility, AI, useability, and language access.

I value inclusion, collaboration and innovation and social issues which I am especially passionate about include diversity, equity and inclusion, animal welfare, suicide prevention, media ethics, end-of-life care, technology access, and the LGBTQ+ community.
